50 mph for 50 cc on flat !!


Finally I've got 50s on flat.
Kitaco heavier final gear helped it out ! The mods list are :

Kitaco imap
Andrion im8
KN ignition coil
Polini variator
Shaved drive face
5,5 gr Dr. Pulley slider
787x17x30 Bando belt
GY6 50 driven pulley
1200 rpm contra spring
Dr pulley clutch
GY6 50 racing bell clutch
Kitaco final gear

And now I am still trying to find the best setup after kitaco gear has replaced with Honda Metropolitan gears. So far Kitaco is better than Met gears, too heavy for 50cc ???

    Gears ruins acceleration way too much. I like more a dragster like moped :)

    Hello! What's was the top speed without Kitaco final gears? So far without gears, with the right rollers and clutch Springs I can get 76km/h.
    Do you seat normally or you get down to be more aerodynamic to reach 50mph?

    77kmh without kitaco gear, seat normally of course, no tuck. (too slow scooter)

    Heeeeee! With gears just 3km/H extra??? I thought I would have gained +10km/h!

      Ha..ha...yes, only increase 5kmh with kitaco and 7kmh with metro gear precisely, both on flat road. Downhill was only 91kmh with metro gear.

      Did you put some washers behind the driven pulley GY6? If you did can you tell me the size and where I can find some.
      What do you think of the new Malossi FURIA ROSSA driven pulley?

    12mm inner diameter, 16mm outer diameter and 4mm length. I dont know where to buy, i did by my self. I have overrange malossi and stage6 pulley, they are too big for zoomer, dont buy them. Gy6 50 or zuma 50 driven pulley so far so good for zoomer

    Hello! Thank you for your answer. I've got a new idea. The ZOOMER and Dio Z4 has a mechanical water pump right? How about remove it and replace it with an electric water pump? This will give make the engine run slightly better since it won't have to pull the pump.what do you think?

      Do you have any idea how to deactivate the mechanical water pump? Do you know to what the pump is connected to? The rockerarms?

    Oooh sorry, if i'm not wrong zoomer is using magnetic water pump system, it doesnt work mechanically and doesnt connected to camshaft. Lightened flywheel and variator could be much better.

    Yes there's a magnet! It doesn't allow down the engine? If it's magnetic out means work worth electricity right?

    I guess I'll just try to move the radiator in front of the scooter and I'll remove the fan that now it's in front of the flywheel. This should let ruin the crankshaft better. A little gain may be
